Katiana Murillo: Discovering autumn in Copenhagen



Despite living in a tropical country, I have always found autumn as being magical and nostalgic with these red, orange and yellow leaves swaying in the wind and covering fields and streets. For some reason, I have done the majority of my travels to the Northern Hemisphere in this season of change. Perhaps, there is a season in which each human being feels more comfortable and for me autumn could be the case; even the slightly cold air on my face is a caress that makes me feel so alive








I live in Costa Rica, a country with only two seasons, and where the rainy season is called the green one, while the dry period is always the best season to enjoy the beaches along the Pacific and the Caribbean coasts. No complaints at all. I have been in love with my country all my life. But there is something that makes you always be attracted to what you don´t have, at least very often. And it happened to me one more time with autumn







I went for the first time to Copenhagen, the beautiful capital of Denmark. Scandinavia seems to be so far away from everything and just the reason why you have to explore it. I was so lucky to travel there because of work but definitively I needed to take at least some hours off for my

encounter with autumn






The result was a whole interesting afternoon in which I tried to capture through photos the essence of what I was looking and feeling. I ended up totally wet because of an unexpected rain, but of course this is something that you also have to live while experiencing autumn
